Question by Soulja: Can Logic 8 run without an m-Audio interface ?
I’m a unsigned singer, and I’ve been recording with Cool Edit Pro for some years, and I just recently brought a Mac laptop, along with a USB condensed microphone. I’ve seen asked around via Twitter on what is a good program for a recording artist, and then answer I’ve received was Logic Pro 9. Before I go out and purchase Logic Pro, I was wonder do you need a interface, to run the software, like you need a m-Audio interface to run Pro Tools on Windows, some feedback would be nice before I go out and do this.

Logic Pro does not require any external audio interface, however, you may still use one in order to create a unique type of sound when recording.

Also, as a side note, Pro Tools M-Powered is the program that requires an M-Audio audio interface while Pro Tools LE and HD require Digidesign audio interfaces.
