I have a blackberry bold and it gets pretty annoying using twitter through text. are there are free downloadable apps that do not require a internet data plan for blackberry bolds that will allow you to use twitter?

I’m a little confused by your question as with my carrier the data plan and text messages are two entirely different things. As far as I know the Twitter app uses your data plan and not text messages, at least on my Curve 8530 it does. But I do believe all apps require a data plan. But maybe I’m not understanding your question. Try visiting the forums on Crackberry.com and asking the members there. They’re extremely helpful and if anyone can help you with this it would be someone there.
