I want to buy and Verizon cell phone and have it flashed to Cricket service. I want to know well all the settings and apps work on the phone. I want to know to if I will be able to download the apps to it. Like Facebook, Twitter, and etc.

You will have to ask Cricket which Vrizon phones can be flashed with all thir features intact.
