Gas price jumps nearly 10 cents for the week
DETROIT– Average retail gasoline prices in Detroit have risen 9.1 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging .50/g yesterday. This compares with the national average that has increased 12.6 cents per gallon in the last week to .47/g, according to gasoline price website DetroitGasPrices.com.

Gurvir Dhindsa Leaving FOX 5 News
Gurvir Dhindsa will be leaving FOX 5 Morning News after Friday’s broadcast. She and her family will be heading to Atlanta. Gurvir will be returning to FOX 5 WAGA where she previously worked as co-anchor of “Good Day Atlanta.” Gurvir joined WTTG in September 2004.
