Operation: Payback’s Facebook and Twitter accounts shut down [Updated]
Operation: Payback has had its Facebook and Twitter pages shut down, after the hacker group behind the pages, Anonymous, used the pages to promote their Web-attacks of Visa and MasterCard’s websites. The group said it attacked the credit cared company websites in retaliation for them refusing to do business with WikiLeaks after it released thousands of U.S. dipolmatic cables.
