Question by Sarah: iPod Touch apps question Wifi?
If I have an iPod touch with different apps… don’t apps needs internet access? Would I need to have wifi access to access these apps? I am not talking about email, but just like twitter or other apps.
What kind of apps work without wifi (excluding games). Anything?

Anything that needs to refresh or use new information including twittwer and facebook and other apps need WIFI but apps like games dont need wifi unless you are posting scores
Lots of utilities do not need access to work. Dictionary, imdb, google maps, almost all games as you said, alarm clocks, music and photo organizing apps, etc.

There are many apps that don’t require wifi! And many that do…..that’s normal. Some examples of apps that don’t require wifi that I have are many and most games….Health and lifestyle apps like Lose it, productivity apps that help me organize my day. Silly apps like iBeer and iBug, Flashlight, Calculator, Tool Kit and so on there are sooooo many!
