you need install third party software if you want to monitor and control his phone usage all-sided.
mobile nanny is a smart tool i know of.

The recent commenter’s suggestion was a good one except that the nanny app recommended is not compatible with this phone.
As far as I know, there is no third party app to monitor on the lg rumor touch.
