Why is PhotoShop CS3 Acting This Way?

Question by Jake: Why is PhotoShop CS3 Acting This Way?
I just downloaded Adobe’s PhotoShop CS3 for free 2 days ago.. Today, I opened up my file that has the size of 1800 x 1000. This size is so I can create a new Twitter background. Today, I re-opened the file and I went to go use the gradient tool. The gradient tool takes a hour too fully load; that’s if it doesn’t freeze. This time the screen froze, & my internet browsers became slow & unresponsive. I pressed & held the power button & turned back on my laptop. I proceeded too click on PhotoShop CS3. I went too go open up my file that I had Saved before & a window popped up saying “Could not complete the commands because the scratch disks are full”. I looked this up on iGoogle & found that since PhotoShop CS3 didn’t close out correctly last time, that I needed to delete the “~####.TMP” files. I searched for “Temp” & “~####.TMP”. The results said that there was no document saved on my laptop with those type of words included. When I try to do a new file with the size of 25 x 50; it works just fine & lets me. I’m wondering what I should do…

I found this for you and I can’t explain it easier than the way he did:

This one shows you the menu to choose to change your “Scratch Disk”

Could you post an “Additional Details” as to how much space you have left on your Hard Drive and how large your Hard Drive is?
