Question by Nate T: Will iPod Touch Apps Hog my memory?
This is really an important subject for me. I’m contemplating buying the cheaper-priced current-gen 8GB Touch (9) or the 2nd-gen 16GB (9), but I don’t know which would be better for me. I’ll have a little over 4GB of music to start with, and I don’t think it’ll get drastically bigger than that, but you never know.
I’ll want apps, and I’m wondering if they’ll be a huge memory hog and fill up an 8GB device too quickly. I’ll have Facebook, Twitter, News, SMS, Google (almost everything: Maps, Search, Voice, etc.), more apps like that and probably a few games. Are apps bigger than I’m thinking (less than 10MB), and will I need a 16GB to hold everything, including music, apps, and whatever else naturally eats bytes?

get the 8gb, apps take up some room but not much.
by the way, you cant get voice control on an ipod, only the iphone

the 16gb would be better more space you have left you never know when you want to add more stuff to it…i have a 32gb ipod touch with 800 song 45 videos 602 pics 50apps and all it took just 6gb i still add stuff every now and then…ok so the app doesnt take a huge amount of space my 50 apps only take less then 1gb
